biocom internships
Internship Title
- Biocom internships are available for high school students, college students and PhD students.
- If you’re a high school student interested in a biocom internship, you can apply for one at the end of your junior year of high school. The deadline for submissions is May 1st (the first day of summer).
- If you’re a college student interested in a biocom internship, apply during your sophomore year or junior year through our website. The deadline is usually the first week of December.*
- If you’re interested in getting involved with biotech research as part of your PhD program at [university], please contact Dr. [name].
Duration of Internship
Internships can last anywhere from 1-3 months. In most cases, they are full-time internships. However, some interns are looking for part time options as well.
Depending on the program and your goals, you may want to consider whether it is better to apply for a summer internship or an internship during the school year. For example, if you are looking to build up your experience in one particular area of biotechnology, then applying at the beginning of summer will allow you more time to focus on this field of study without having any other projects or classes distracting you from your goal. On the other hand, if you are interested in learning about different types of scientific research and working with many scientists throughout an entire project (rather than just one), then applying during regular school hours may be better suited for this kind of experience because there will be more people available who could teach and guide you through different aspects of science than what would normally be available during summers which tend towards being less busy overall due largely in part due their lower population levels due primarily because most students stop attending class until fall semester starts again later that year).
