Nottingham is an up-and-coming city, whose buzz and excitement is not to be missed.
Nottingham is a charming city that’s growing in popularity. It boasts an interesting mix of old and new, with plenty to see and do for both visitors and residents alike. There are many great things to see and do in Nottingham, including visiting the 12th-century St. Mary’s Church or spending time at the city’s famous museums like The Galleries of Justice, which has been featured in many TV shows like Poirot (and not just because they’ve got some pretty amazing jail cells).
Nottingham has a pleasant climate all year round – perfect for exploring the city with friends or family! Besides its charming architecture, you’ll love how friendly everyone is here!
There are also plenty of festivals happening throughout the year – from food fests to music concerts to comedy nights – so it’s easy for you to find something fun that fits your schedule!

- The city is home to many different museums that showcase local history, including the Nottingham Industrial Museum. This museum showcases the industrial history of Nottingham from its inception through modern times with displays including industrial machinery, photographs, documents and artefacts relating both to local industry as well as national developments (such as railways).
- The National Justice Museum gives an insight into how justice has been served throughout England’s history. Visitors will find out about trials held at one time or another in every corner of England – from murder cases involving notorious criminals such as Jack The Ripper to lesser known offences such as poaching game birds; from petty crime like pickpocketing up through arsonists who set firehouses ablaze in order steal goods stored inside them; right up until today when crimes like drug dealing are punished according to strict guidelines laid down by Parliament in Acts passed by parliamentarians who have been elected directly by voters just like yourself!

Accommodation is one thing that students often struggle with when they arrive in another country but luckily there are lots of affordable options available so it shouldn’t be too difficult finding somewhere decent to stay while working as an intern this summer! If possible I would recommend looking for accommodation close by your workplace so that if anything happens we can help each other out during our time here together 🙂
Not only that but the city offers a range of galleries, museums, theatres and live music venue, so you won’t be stuck for things to do after work.

In the last year we have seen the opening of the National Videogame Arcade and the new £40 million Broadway Cinema. The city’s reputation for being a cultural hub has been further enhanced by the recent announcement that Nottingham will become the UK’s first City of Football.
Not to mention the countless eateries offering an array of world cuisine from Italian to Thai.

In addition to the numerous restaurants and takeaways in Nottingham, it’s also possible to sample traditional British fare like fish and chips or Sunday roasts at one of the many pubs around town. There are also plenty of vegan/vegetarian options available if you’re looking for something more specific.
Whatever your interests Nottingham will have something for you.
Whatever your interests, there is something for you in Nottingham. The city has a good mix of historical and modern architecture with beautiful green spaces, making it a great place to study and work.
Nottingham has excellent transport links with easy access to the motorway network, so getting around the country is made easy. Its central location means there are plenty of opportunities to visit other cities such as Derby, Leicester and Lincoln which are all within an hour’s drive away by car or train.
In addition to this its student accommodation options include everything from halls of residence to private rooms in shared houses – meaning students have a wide range of choices when it comes time for them to find somewhere suitable before starting university courses in September 2020!
Nottingham has great job opportunities and fun events/activities
Nottingham is a thriving city that has many job opportunities, as well as fun activities and places to visit. The city centre is vibrant and safe. There are many tourist attractions in Nottingham including Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest and its castle, which was built by William the Conqueror in 1068. You can see Robin Hood’s grave when you visit his church, St. Mary’s Church at Giltbrook near Edwinstowe Forest Park where he used to hide!
The University of Nottingham has over 30,000 students who live in halls of residence around the city centre or at other campuses throughout Nottinghamshire (like my university campus at Wollaton Hall). The campus is only about 15 minutes by bus from town centre so it’s easy to get around by public transport if you don’t have a car (though I would recommend hiring one if possible).
There are other things to do outside too like going shopping on Friar Lane or Broad Street where there are lots of diverse shops selling everything from books through cosmetics and clothes for men/women/children etc., eating out at restaurants with different cuisines such as Thai food (my favourite), Italian pizza bar chains like Zizzi’s or Moshi Moshi Noodle Bar – both offer vegetarian options too so everyone can enjoy something tasty while they eat out together as friends!
