Baker Hughes is an American industrial service company and one of the world’s largest oil field services companies. It operates in over 120 countries, providing the oil and gas industry with products and services for oil drilling, formation evaluation, completion, production and reservoir consulting.

In recent years Baker Hughes has acquired several other companies including BJ Services Company which provides well drilling services to oilfield customers worldwide; Weatherford International which provides completions tools such as hydraulic fracturing equipment; National Oilwell Varco which makes pumps used in producing wells; Halliburton Energy Services Group (HESG) which provides pressure pumping service among many others.

Boston Scientific offers internships in engineering, manufacturing and business. Engineering interns will have the opportunity to work on projects related to product development, which can include designing new devices or improving existing products. Manufacturing interns will have the chance to gain hands-on experience with industrial machinery, as well as provide support for production teams through tasks such as quality control checks and packaging. Cummins has worked with some of the most notable companies around the globe, including General Electric (GE), Caterpillar Inc., Hyundai Motor Company and Navistar International Corporation.

Dow Chemical

As a Dow Chemical intern, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that are directly related to your coursework. Dow Chemical’s internship program is designed to give you hands-on experience in various disciplines and departments within the company.

Interns will be assigned to one of four core groups: business development; engineering; research and development; or sustainability. You will work with senior members at all levels, including technical experts as well as students who are just starting out their careers at Dow.

Dow Chemical offers paid internships during the summer months from June through August for qualified students from colleges and universities around the world.
