The Guggenheim Securities Investment Banking Sophomore Diversity Internship is designed to provide an opportunity for sophomores from underrepresented groups in finance to gain valuable hands-on experience working with senior bankers. The program requires that applicants have completed their junior year and have at least one internship during their first two years of school (junior or senior). Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2020.

Program Description
The Guggenheim Securities Investment Banking Sophomore Diversity Internship Program is an internship program for sophomores and juniors from diverse backgrounds. The goal of the program is to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn about the finance industry by working alongside our seasoned professionals at Guggenheim Securities.

Applicants must be currently enrolled as sophomores at an accredited college or university with no more than two years left to graduate before applying. The program is open nationwide to recent college graduates who have demonstrated leadership abilities and interest in pursuing a career in investment banking. Our Offerings
We offer a full-time summer internship, and part-time, full-time and multiple internships for the fall semester. The program is competitive: we only accept the best candidates. We look for candidates who have an interest in finance as well as strong academic performance (a 3.3 GPA or higher).
You’ll need to be prepared to work independently on a project related to your interests in our online coursework; this will require some research on your own time after hours. You must also have excellent communication skills because you will be working closely with our clients throughout the course of your employment with Guggenheim Securities Investment Banking Sophomore Diversity Internship Program (GSIBSP).
