Goldsmith

As a goldsmith, you’ll use tools like a hammer, chisel and saw to shape metal into jewelry. You’ll also use precious stones like diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds.

Goldsmiths have traditionally worked in workshops where they made finished pieces of jewelry or other objects. Today many work in studios where they make the entire product from start to finish by themselves or with an assistant or two.

Choreography

In the field of choreography, an internship is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience. While you may be able to learn some things in school, a choreographer’s job has many aspects that are not covered by the curriculum. Choreographers must work closely with other members of a team and collaborate with them to make something great. Choreography is also a very visual art form, so being able to show off your ideas through demonstrations and even rough drafts will help you stand out when applying for jobs later on.

The best way to get started on finding an internship or job as a choreographer is by networking with people at dance studios near where you live or go to school; there might even be some opportunities within your dance studio! If possible, I recommend taking an introductory course on programming at your school or community college in order to get your feet wet before diving in head first. If this isn’t an option for you, no worries—there are plenty of free online resources that can help teach foundational concepts like variables and loops as well as more advanced topics such as design patterns and object oriented programming (OOP).

Robotics

Robotics is the study of robots. A robot is a machine that can perform a task or series of tasks automatically, with little or no human intervention. This can include simple robots like vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers to complex industrial robots that use a variety of sensor technology, artificial intelligence, and programming to perform their duties: welding car bodies together on an assembly line at one end to performing surgery in a hospital at the other.

Graphic Designing

Graphic designers use typography, visual arts and page layout techniques to create visual representations of ideas and messages. It can be used in branding (logos) for print or screen; packaging design; advertising; digital media; environmental display like signage, wayfinding and information design for different industries.

The skills needed include:

• Technical/practical ability such as using software programs like Photoshop or Illustrator
