In this role as an Interior Designer & Creative Intern, you will gain hands on experience by working alongside our senior designers as well as participating in projects such as room makeovers or brand launches. You will also be given responsibilities such as creating mood boards, prototypes and 3D models using software like Adobe Suite (Illustrator).

You must be creative and have an eye for detail. You should be able to use your skills to help us create visually stimulating environments that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Interns will work closely with our team of designers, architects, and project managers on projects ranging from small-scale residential interiors to large-scale commercial spaces. Additionally, you will gain valuable insight into how the construction industry operates by observing real-life projects from start to finish; we cannot stress enough how much this experience will help shape you as a designer!

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop CC 2018/Illustrator CC 2018/InDesign CC 2018)
• A portfolio demonstrating skill in creating architectural drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software would be helpful but not required; this is an internship looking for people who want to learn about architecture through hands-on experience

You will be working on a variety of projects within the studio. You can expect to get involved from the beginning stages of projects, such as creating mood boards, colour schemes, presentation boards and more. You will also be expected to work on interior designs for hotels, restaurants, retail stores and residential apartments – anything where good design can influence the way we live our lives!

This position would suit someone who is currently studying at university/college or A-Levels (or equivalent) with an interest in interior decoration or architecture. Ideally you should have some knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop but this isn’t essential; we’re happy to train applicants up on these programmes if necessary. If you have experience using the Adobe Suite (mainly Illustrator and Photoshop) that would be beneficial, but not required as we will train you up on these essential programs.

If you don’t feel like walking or want a little more time to relax before work, there are plenty of buses that run through the area and stop nearby, including:
