The zoo offers an internship program that allows you to interact with animals while learning how they are cared for and managed. The internship is 10-12 weeks long and includes participation in daily activities like feeding or bathing animals, monitoring their health conditions, cleaning cages and enclosures, and taking them for walks on leashes or inside carts. The cost per participant is $1800 USD (not including travel costs). This includes housing accommodations and meals during your stay at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo.
