EDF Renewables

EDF Renewables is a wind energy company based in the United Kingdom. Their goal is to “help secure more clean, renewable power from sources like wind.” They aim to do this by building and operating wind farms, as well as developing new technologies for the industry.

The internship at EDF Renewables will focus on assisting with various tasks related to business development and sales within EDF’s renewable divisions. The intern will gain experience working with clients, identifying opportunities for growth, preparing presentations and reports, writing proposals and contracts, etc. This internship can be part-time or full-time depending on your schedule/availability.

The City of Chicago

For paid internships, you’ll need to have a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 months of relevant professional experience or an undergraduate degree with 2 years’ relevant professional experience. • Internships- These programs are available to students at all levels, including high school students and college undergraduates as well as law school graduates who have not yet passed their bar exams.

The U.S. House of Representatives, sometimes called the People’s House, is one of two houses of Congress and has the sole power to make all laws. The House is composed of 435 members who are directly elected by the people in their districts every two years. The current speaker of the House is Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Internships with this branch can be very rewarding because you will have access to some of our country’s most influential leaders and decision makers, but you also should know that there are many duties involved in performing an internship here as well as some long hours required on your part because interns are expected to work long days during session weeks (Monday through Thursday).

In addition to working for a member or committee chairwoman/man during session weeks or throughout yearlong internships, interns may also assist staff members with various administrative duties such as answering phones and greeting visitors at reception desks; assisting constituents with casework requests; reviewing legislation scheduled for consideration by committees; researching issues related to legislative interest areas; writing press releases; drafting speeches for members’ use during debates on bills before Congress; tracking legislation through each stage within each chamber [House/Senate]; monitoring daily floor activities during session weeks; distributing copies of bills being considered on Tuesdays when there is no formal vote scheduled due to recesses between regular legislative sessions [January through August]. It’s worth noting that while some offices require interns pass a test before they will accept them into their program if they don’t already have experience working there prior—this doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be easy getting accepted into these positions without having any previous experience!
