Our internships are open to all students of drama who have completed at least one year of their degree course (or equivalent). We welcome applications from students currently studying at universities across London and beyond. As an intern you will be involved in all aspects of theatre production; including set building and prop making, costume making and dressmaking, lighting design & operation as well as assisting actors during rehearsals or performances.

Students can also use their internship experience as a way to build up an impressive portfolio of creative work. You’ll want to show off your range, so include everything from your writing projects and directing efforts to your acting reels and stage management documentation. If you have any photos or videos from the productions you were involved in, include those too.

If possible, create one folder on Dropbox or Google Drive where all of this content is stored; then upload it to your portfolio website (like Behance). You may also want to include links to some of the reviews or articles that were written about the shows you worked on during your internship; these are good ways for prospective employers to see what kind of press coverage was generated thanks in part to your hard work!
