Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm and one of the world’s most important destinations for aspiring business leaders. The company has a storied history, going back to its founding in 1935 by Henry Morgan and Harold Stanley. It has grown into one of the world’s leading investment banks, with more than 200 offices worldwide that employ over 44,000 people across its various industries — including sales & trading, wealth management and investment banking.
In 2010 alone Morgan Stanley made $5 billion in revenue while operating as a publicly traded company on exchanges such as NASDAQ or NYSE Euronext. They offer opportunities for interns at all levels (graduate students through senior executives) who are interested in working within their different departments: advisory services; capital markets; consumer finance; corporate finance (including mergers & acquisitions); debt capital markets; equity research; investment management & wealth management operations support functions; market risk management analytics team (known as Market Risk Management Analytics Team or MMRMAT).

JP Morgan

JP Morgan is a global investment bank with offices in more than 60 countries. They have over 3,000 employees based out of their London office alone. If you’re looking for an internship with a prestigious company, JP Morgan is a great place to start your search!

Their most recent internships were posted in June 2019 and they are looking for candidates who can work full-time between June 7th and September 6th 2020 as well as part-time from September 5th until December 31st 2020.

JP Morgan’s Finance department offers several different areas of focus including: Accounting Operations & Credit Control; Centralized Cash Management; Corporate Treasury & Investor Relations; Financial Risk Management; Global Client Coverage; Investment Banking; Market Risk Management; Operational Risk Management & Governance (ORMG); Trade Support Services (TSS).

Bank of America

Bank of America is a large US bank that offers competitive salaries and internship programs. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company has over $2 trillion in assets and employs hundreds of thousands of people. Bank of America is one of the largest companies in the world by revenue.

The summer internships involve working on projects related to data analytics and machine learning. The position requires you to have strong mathematical skills as well as expertise in coding languages such as Python or R (or other similar tools). Experienced interns can also expect opportunities for leadership roles such as mentoring fellow interns or leading teams working on specific projects related to math analysis at Bank of America

Barclays offers a variety of internships in different departments, including finance, technology and operations. The minimum requirements for all programmes include having completed your undergraduate degree with at least a 2:1, as well as strong work experience or projects to demonstrate your commitment to the industry. Candidates will also need to have excellent communication skills and attention to detail in order to succeed in this competitive field! In addition, an aptitude test will be required before you’re invited for an interview – make sure you brush up on your maths skills before taking it!

UBS

UBS is a Swiss global financial services company. Internships are available in London, with roles ranging from data science to digital marketing.

Internships last for 12 weeks and are open to penultimate year students who have completed their IB or A-Levels with good grades and have then gone on to study a degree in a relevant subject (e.g., business, economics or maths). Applicants must also be EU, EEA or Swiss nationals.

In addition to the above requirements, UBS will consider applications from students studying non-business degrees if they can provide evidence of previous experience working with budgets/figures/numbers that demonstrates an interest in finance or accounting work specifically; this could be through holding part-time jobs throughout school/college as well as internships during vacations before starting university studies.

RBC Capital Markets

RBC Capital Markets is the investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada. The company has a presence in 20 countries, and its clients include large corporations, governments and institutional investors. RBC Capital Markets offers services in fixed income, equity and currency markets.
