Your job duties may include engaging with academic researchers on matters related to your discipline as well as performing tasks involved with resubmitting papers for publication, editing papers for clarity and accuracy, preparing presentations for meetings and conventions, helping others with their homework assignments, organizing conference proceedings, maintaining files/catalogs relevant to certain projects/studies, writing grants that may go out through appropriate offices within your institution (and updating them accordingly), developing ideas/concepts into preliminary reports on how those concepts could potentially be applied in the future, etc…
