Intel

If you are interested in doing an internship at Intel, keep these things in mind:

What to expect? Interns will be given projects and tasks to work on. You’ll be expected to come up with solutions and execute them effectively.

What should I prepare for? Prepare yourself for a behavioral interview where you need to demonstrate how well you can perform under pressure and solve problems quickly. Each summer, SpaceX hires 500 interns across its many business units. Interns are given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and teams, including remote sensing and launch vehicle development.

As you might expect, NASA internships are highly competitive. iRobot Corporation

iRobot was founded in 1990 by MIT roboticists who were inspired by the future of robotics, and the company designs, builds, and sells robots for the consumer market. iRobot’s first product was a vacuum cleaner, but it has since expanded its offerings to include security robots and autonomous vehicles that can be used by consumers or businesses.

Boston Dynamics

Boston Dynamics is one of the biggest names in robotics. They offer a variety of internships in engineering, software, design and research. Their Waltham office houses the company’s administrative offices as well as their robotics laboratory and manufacturing facility. Their Mountain View office is where most of their research and development is done. Their Tokyo office develops products for Japanese markets.
