BakerMcKenzie.Wong&Leow
Baker & McKenzie Wong & Leow provides valuable internship opportunities for bright and keen students who are keen to find out more about a career in law. The experience gained as an intern at Baker & McKenzie Wong & Leow is not only beneficial to the student, but also provides valuable insight into our law practice. We offer two types of internships:
- Vacation Internship Programme – this is a 2-3 week programme open to both local and overseas university students. Selected candidates will be attached to different practice groups within the firm, where they will be exposed to real-life client situations. This experience enables interns to develop skills that would otherwise not have been achieved in a classroom environment.
- Attachment Programme – this is applicable for university students who need internship for academic credit or graduation requirements (typically 6th semester or final year students). Students typically spend 8-12 weeks with us, working on projects under the supervision of lawyers within the practice group they are attached to.

For law students that means finding a legal internship in an established law firm or maybe even starting their own practice if they’re feeling ambitious enough. It’s daunting but luckily we’ve got some tips on how to make this process easier for you:
